Opening times

Morning sessions begin from 7:45am -9am where children will then be escorted to their class rooms for start of school day. (Sessions can not be started earlier in mornings than stated above.)

Afternoon sessions begin from 3:10pm - 6pm. (For lateness or emergencies, always contact the club at the earliest time possible) 

Key stage 1 children are escorted to Galaxy by school staff from class at the end of the day and key stage 2 will independently make their way to Galaxy upon release from class teachers.

Once you have a space at Galaxy it will roll over each year unless we are informed space is no longer needed and 2 weeks notice is required.

Galaxy also remains open on the last days of term in which school closes early. The children on these days will be with Galaxy an extra hour fee as charged below.

Prices (Subject to change) As of September 2024/25

Registration fees £20 per child will be added to Parent pay account upon starting club. (Cash or Cheques not accepted at Galaxy)

Morning session, including breakfast, is £6 a session.

Evening session including snack is £13.50 a session.

Late fees £25 (Per child)

Extra hour early close fee added is £4.55 (End of term early closure fee)

Accounts must be kept in credit at all times, ready for sessions ahead.

Payments

We are a cashless club and use Parent pay which is also the schools, main payment system. 

We also accept Childcare vouchers , tax-free childcare and Childcare grant payment schemes.

As of 2022, we no longer accept cheques.

Waiting list/Places

Galaxy currently has spaces

If you are offered a space and do not accept, then you will have to re-apply and re-join waiting our list. 

If your child is unable to attend Galaxy for any reason, it is required that parents make sure to contact the club to avoid any confusion of the child's whereabouts on numbers below or leave a message with the school office. Thank you.

 Galaxy children’s place allocation explained.

 All Galaxy place admissions must come via website form or school provided Galaxy form as emails will not be counted as place requests.

 Galaxy spaces are permanent continuous allocated spaces until a parent/carer states that the space is no longer needed and a 2-week notice period then comes into effect.

      Places are awarded as follows:

1. Siblings automatically allocated spaces to allow continuation of care for families already present.
2. Full-time care needed (Morning and afternoon sessions Monday - Friday)
3. Full-time morning or evenings needed
4. Part-time morning and evening sessions needed
5. Part-time, mornings or evening needed.
6. Singles sessions needed are then allocated to the different days needed with space available.

 Ad-hoc sessions can be provided for children already attending Galaxy if space is available on days needed at an extra cost for   emergencies, but not a service regularly offered.

 New September school starters are not automatically assigned a Galaxy place and must apply via the website form or school   provided starter pack.
